Uniting passionate
public health professionals

SejutaKG is a gathering of like-minded health professionals who share the same passion – and frustrations - for public health.

Gabriel Ng
Founder

Gabriel Ng is the founder of SejutaKG and the Triune Centre for Social Engagement, a corporate centre, conference venue and ESG campaigner.

A graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in International Relations in 1997, he completed his Masters in Development Studies also from the LSE in 2002. From 2002 to 2019 Gabriel worked in various capacities in his family-owned companies encompassing business development, property investment and corporate strategy. Feeling restless with intellectual roots from his academic days that had yet to flower in his career, he set up Triune Centre as a vehicle to launch ESG campaigns that would test his ideas on the larger society.

Public health emerged as a concern for Gabriel during Covid, and so it became the first arena for these ideas with gamified health campaigns under SejutaKG. During this time,  Gabriel also became a certified health coach with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and developed the SejutaKG “Journey to Health” training course.

The core training program was developed over 3 years as the SejutaKG community health campaigns rolled out and when Gabriel and his team spoke to hundreds if not thousands of ordinary Malaysians about their health challenges. These conversations helped narrow down the focus of health intervention into the most productive, actionable interventions now showcased in “Journey to Health”.

Gabriel sees the public health challenges posed by NCDs as an opportunity to create an entire new vocation – SejutaKG Trainer/Commissioners, tasked with leading communities away from NCDs and providing vital early interventions in communities. Such Trainer/Commissioners will plug the gaps in our current health system which have allowed lifestyle diseases to grow beyond our ability to manage and provide a vital new front line in our struggle against the prevailing NCD crisis.
