The basics of staying healthy have been well known for many years, even decades.

And yet, Malaysians are getting more and more unhealthy.

Why is that? And how can we counter it?

At SejutaKG we embrace the philosophy of the great South African Bishop Desmond Tutu, who said this:

“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river.
We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

We focus on lifestyle screening, training and education on how and WHY to live a healthy lifestyle. Studies have shown that such training provides the most cost-effective public health intervention for individuals to avoid NCDs.

But starting early is only one element of the change needed. In Asia, where community norms, culture and most importantly the example of leadership play an important role, such interventions have to be endorsed, mirrored and supported from the community heads or employer management for there to be a lasting impact.

Therefore, we believe community health transformation has to START with education and training, but for it to work, it has to END with culture and compliance.

That is why we pioneered a customised internal health campaign which takes into account your workplace activities, culture and corporate messaging. It is a whole of community / 360 approach which is sensitive to the needs and unique health challenges of individuals, achieving health wins for the group while preserving privacy for individuals.
