I Like to Move It, Move It
We like to MOVE IT!
If we want to keep healthy, we have to keep moving.
By this, we don’t mean moving our thumbs around, swiping left or right on our mobile screens or tapping on our keyboards. When we say ‘move’, try to imagine what our ancestors needed to do to survive.
Walk. Run.
Lift. Bend.
Carry. Throw.
Jump or even swim.
These movements help us preserve our muscles and keep our bones strong, our organs healthy and our minds positive, focused and productive.
When we keep moving and make fitness and exercise a part of our lifestyles, we set ourselves up for success in becoming healthier. But remember one important rule – choose the fitness movements that you can confidently say to yourself:
I have the time and money to do this, whether it’s 2, 3 or 5 times a week.
I can prioritise this over other things in my life.
I like doing it; it makes me feel good afterwards
If they don’t meet these 3 criteria, you might find it difficult to continue exercising. So choose the right movements or exercises carefully – and stick to it!
If all else fails, doing yoga moves while taking your calls works as well!
